WORCESTER – Kathleen J. (Kelley) Moynihan, 58, of Hartshorn Ave., died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 in Saint Vincent Hospital.
She leaves her husband of 20 years, Charles N. Moynihan, Sr.; a son, Ronald P. Anish, Jr. and his wife Beth of Auburn; a daughter, Mindy L. Rosenblad and her husband Eric of Barre; her step-children, Charles N. Moynihan, Jr. of Chandler, Arizona and Jennifer M. Moynihan of Worcester; two brothers, Wayne D. Kelley of Worcester and Timothy G. Kelley of Jefferson; two grandchildren, Maura and Brendan Anish of Auburn; two step-grandchildren, Connor and Madison; and many nephews and nieces. Two brothers, James E. Kelley, Jr. and William L. Kelley, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of James E. and Beatrice (Kelly) Kelley, and lived in Paxton before moving to Worcester 40 years ago.
Kathleen was a graduate of South High School. She was a Dispatcher in the Communications Dept. for the Worcester Police for 20 years, retiring in 2003. She loved to travel with her husband and spend time at their summer home in Charlton. It brought her the greatest joy to spend time with her grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral for Kathleen will be held on Monday, Dec. 31st, from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Columba Church, 18 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. Burial will be private in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Massachusetts Police Association, c/o W.P.D, 9-11 Lincoln Square, Worcester, MA 01608.
