Juma D. Nyakako Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

PRINCETON - Juma Daud Nyakako passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022, in Worcester. He was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on July 15, 1998. He grew up in Spring Valley, NY; Westchester, OH, and spent most of his youth in Princeton, MA. He attended Thomas Prince School and Wachusett Regional High School. Juma was musically gifted and enjoyed playing the saxophone, drums, and piano. He was a lover of sports, excelling in both baseball and basketball. He had a vibrant personality and was able to make us all laugh, cry, dance, and everything in between. He studied at Worcester State University and Hofstra University, where he graduated with a degree in Economics in 2020. Juma worked with Brown and Brothers as a Financial Analyst and had long-term goals to become an investment banker. Juma is survived by his parents, Emmanuel and Rosemarie Nyakako; and his siblings, Ian, Rafiel, Sasha, Rachel, Sarah, Malkia, and Musa. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Juma’s family from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 22nd at the Miles-Sterling Funeral & Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Rd., Sterling. Burial will be held privately at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ at a later date.
