HOLDEN – Mark P. Stafford, 54, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
He leaves a son, Matthew L. Stafford of Hubbardston; his mother, Maureen I. (Cox) Stafford of Holden; two brothers, Roger K. Stafford of Holden and Keith T. Stafford and his wife Dale of Princeton; a sister, Wendy M. Stafford of Shrewsbury; aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. His father, Kenneth R. Stafford, predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester and graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1976 and later graduated from ITT Tech. He was a tree tech and a landscaper for many years in the Worcester County area. An avid New England sports fan, Mark loved to go hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. The funeral for Mark will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
