    Miriam A. Linsky

    March 22, 1929 - May 16, 2022

    LEOMINSTER - Miriam A. Linsky, 93, of Leominster, MA died on Monday, May 16th at the Jewish Healthcare Center of Worcester. She was born on March 22, 1929, in Fall River, MA and was the daughter of Nathan and Dora (Epstein) Wyse. She lived in Leominster for over 60 years. She graduated from Sweet Briar University in Virginia and was the advertising manager for the Leominster Kmart for 16 years. Miriam had a wealth of knowledge which was highlighted by her three-day appearance on Jeopardy in 1968. She was a member of Congregation Agudat Achim in Leominster and often helped the congregation’s children write their Bar and Bat Mitzvah speeches. She was an active member of the Jewish Community Center of Fitchburg and Leominster and wrote the Thanksgiving show for them for many years. Miriam was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Elliott, and her sister Ellie Lustig. She leaves her daughter, Faith Linsky of Worcester, her son Nathan Linsky and his wife Brenda of Gardner, MA, her son James Linsky and his wife Crystal of Portland, ME and her son Daniel Linsky and his wife, Doreen of Vero Beach, FL as well as her grandchildren Avalena Linsky, Adam Linsky and his wife Kristen, and Michael Linsky and his wife Nicole. She also leaves her great grandchildren Abigail, Paisleigh, Indy Rose and Josiah Linsky. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, May 23 at Congregation Agudat Achim, 268 Washington Street in Leominster. Burial will be at Agudas Achim Cemetery in Fitchburg. Memorial observance will be held Monday, May 23 at Congregation Agudat Achim at 4 pm with services at 4:45 pm.
