WORCESTER – Ann (Feigenson) Sloane, age 98, died peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Jewish Healthcare Center after a period of declining health. Born in Worcester, Ann was the daughter of Israel and Rose (Werber) Feigenson and was a lifelong resident of Worcester.
Ann graduated from Worcester Classical High School with the Class of 1945, eventually earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Syracuse University. She worked for many years as an Elementary School Teacher. Ann was a lifelong member of Temple Emanuel Sinai.
Ann will be lovingly missed and remembered by her devoted children, Randy Sloane and his wife, Marcia of Sharon, and Debra Sloane of Washington, CT; her sister, Gale Cogan; her cherished grandchildren, Emily Sloane and her husband, David Rosati of North Chelmsford, Abigail Sloane and husband, Timothy Tunis of Quincy, Kathryn Tanner of New York City and Alison Tanner of Chicago; and her great-grandchildren, Samuel, Noah, Sloane, Sydney, Serena and Iris. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, Sidney L. Sloane in 2017.
Family and friends will gather to honor Ann’s remarkable life at a Graveside Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at B’nai Brith Cemetery, 55 St. John’s Road, Worcester. Immediately following the Interment Service the family invites everyong to a Memorial Observance Reception at the Jewish Healthcare Center, 629 Salisbury Street, Worcester, until 2:30 PM. Arrangements are in the care of Miles Funeral Home of Holden.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Brasser Center for BRCA (www.basser.org).
