AUBURN - Arthur J. “AJ Coyote” Blye, age 67, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
At the age of 17, he joined the United States Army Special Task Force. After being discharged, he spent his career working in construction and remodeling.
He loved hunting, camping, native pow wows, and walking in the woods. He took many trips to the mountains with his wife. He also embraced his Native American heritage, being a member of Thirteen Moons Turtle Clan, where he was a loved and respected warrior. Lately, he attended events at the Worcester Inter-tribal Indian Center.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 8 years, Wendy (Hammond) Blye; a daughter, Candace Blye of Texas; a stepdaughter, Mandie Burdett and her partner, Kevin Schofield; and stepson, Colin Burdett; 5 brothers; 2 sisters, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was a loving and devoted Bumpa to his 2 granddaughters, Naia and Melia Schofield.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 18th, at Sweet Community House, 44 Peck St., Attleboro, MA.
