PRINCETON - Arthur Jay Borsky, 65, of Princeton, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital after a nearly two-year-long, hard-fought battle with leukemia. He was born in Washington, DC on April 10, 1950 to the late Rosalyn (Rosen) and Paul Borsky. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Plainview, NY, received a bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University and a master’s degree in social work from University of Connecticut. Arthur worked as a social worker for many years for the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. He then worked as a technical recruiter for the bio-tech, electronics and power industries. He was a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and past Regional VP of the Massachusetts Association of Personnel Services. Previously, he served on the Board of Directors of the Holden Area Chamber of Commerce. Arthur loved the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, tennis, fishing, exploring new areas, music, and spending time with his family and friends. Arthur was a strong, outgoing and passionate man and leaves behind many memories of his determination, enthusiasm and love. Arthur is survived by his wife, Anne Marie (Maculevich) Borsky; his daughter, Amanda and her husband, Daniel Hartnett; his son, Alexander Borsky; his sisters, Susan Cohen and her husband, Daniel and Phyllis Borsky; as well as many nieces and nephews.
