ROANOKE- Audrey J. Holasek, 81, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away Saturday, August 6th in Worcester, MA surrounded by her family. Her beloved husband Ronald, predeceased her in 2015.
She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota the daughter of Elmer and Bertha Clark. She attended Eden Prairie High School where she met Ronald who would be the love of her life and soul mate for the next 60 years. She was a long time resident of Smith Mountain Lake in Moneta, Virginia. She loved her family, friends and church, Trinity Ecumenical Parish, where she was a past president of the church council and involved in the choir and altar guild.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Borchelt and her husband, Fred; her son, Bryan and his wife, Patty. She was cherished by her four grandchildren, Stephen, Sarah, Ryan and Ethan.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Trinity Ecumenical Church, Moneta, VA on Sunday August 21st at 4 p.m. A service of interment will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
