Paxton - Beryl Ann Dillman, 93, passed away peacefully at her home in Paxton, on October 10, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Worcester on April 30, 1933, to George H. and Evelyn F. (Daigle) French, Beryl was raised in Worcester and attended Commerce High School. In 1952, she married her husband, Robert F. Dillman, and together they spent many happy years in Paxton and Petersham.
During their early years together, Beryl and Bob were renowned for their basement parties, where friends could be found dancing into the night. Around town, Beryl could often be spotted driving her red Mustang with her signature B.A.D. license plates. She enjoyed participating in Paxton’s many Open House events and was happy to share her love of her historic home, which she decorated with her inherent sense of style. Beryl was an accomplished artist who taught Early American Decoration in her home for 16 years. She had a special affection for her Scottish Terriers, who brought her much happiness. She especially cherished spending summers in Maine with friends and family.
In addition to her parents, Beryl was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert F. Dillman; her son, Robert F. Dillman, Jr.; and her brother, George H. French, Jr.
She leaves behind her daughter, Deborah Hohorst, and her husband, Bruce, of Rumson, New Jersey; her daughter-in-law, Diane Dillman, of Worcester; her sister-in-law, Ruth French, of San Diego, California; and her loving grandchildren, Alyssa, Erin, and Rachel, who will miss her dearly.
A private graveside service for Beryl will be held at Mooreland Cemetery in Paxton.
