Beverly A. Doucimo

Worcester – Beverly A. Doucimo, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2026, at UMass Memorial Healthcare – University Campus in Worcester, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Ross F. and Evelyn M. (Bildeau) Abare and was raised in Auburn.

Throughout her life, Beverly made her home in West Boylston, Rutland, and Florida before recently returning to Worcester. She worked as a secretary for RE/MAX Advantage Realtors in Worcester, where she was known for her dedication and warm, friendly nature. A member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Worcester, Beverly found joy in her faith, her family, and the simple pleasures of life.

An avid animal lover, Beverly delighted in watching and feeding the wild birds that visited her yard and treasured the companionship of her beloved pet dog. More than anything, however, Beverly's greatest joy came from her family. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with her children and especially adored her twelve grandchildren, whose lives were forever enriched by her love, kindness, and gentle spirit.

Beverly was predeceased by her parents and daughter Kathy and leaves behind her devoted husband, Pasquale "Pat" J. Doucimo; her sons, Bruce B. DiGioia and his wife, Penny, of Moosup, Connecticut, and Jesse L. DiGioia and his wife, Andrea, of Worcester; her stepsons, Pat J. Doucimo and his wife, Anne, of Worcester, and Joseph A. Doucimo of Worcester; her brother, Donald J. Abare and his wife, Jan, of Sterling; her sister, Lorraine M. Kronberg of Tennessee; her twelve cherished grandchildren; and one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to gather for a memorial calling hour from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 12:00 noon on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to MSPCA-Angell, 350 South Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02130, in honor of Beverly's lifelong love and compassion for animals.
