WEST BOYLSTON - It is with heavy hearts we announce that Bruce D. Dickinson, 57, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, June 21, 2025.
Bruce was born in American Falls, Idaho, the son of the late Leon L. Dickinson, III, and Beatrice B. Dorman. He was educated in Northampton schools and attended Springfield Technical Community College. After graduation, he was hired by AB Lasers, which has now become Coherent, working alongside his late brother, Leon, for many years as a service technician, kickstarting a 33-year career as a Regional Sales Manager winning the President's Club Top Global Performer award in 2024.
Bruce's love for his community and family was evident by his participation in numerous local organizations. Bruce was most recently coaching The Guardians lacrosse team for his sons. Bruce's greatest joy in life was being a father to his children, and a loving husband to his wife.
Bruce was an avid and lifelong Patriots football fan having season tickets for several years that he shared with family and friends. He loved his Harley motorcycle and enjoyed working on vintage cars. He was well-known for his love of traveling and participating in outdoor sports with his sons. Bruce was loved by his family and friends for his sense of humor, beautiful smile, intelligence, and generosity. Although Bruce is gone, he will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Bruce will be deeply missed and forever loved by his wife, Jacqueline Ammedolia Dickinson and sons, Dakota, Ashton, and Blake; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Anthony and Meridith Ammedolia; brothers-in-law, Robert Ammedolia and Jake Ammedolia, sister, Trina and brother-in-law Donald Raucher, nieces Taylor and Lyndsey, sister Tanya Dickinson Abbatessa, nephews Colin and Conor, sister Angela Dickinson, former sister-in-law Jennifer Dickinson, nephews Cody and Mathew, and niece, Alexandra, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous lifelong friends with whom he has shared many happy memories.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Bruce’s family for a period of calling hours on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at High Plains Cemetery, West Boylston at 11 a.m.
