Carole G. Forsman

Fiskdale - Carole G. Forsman, 69, passed away at the home of her son, Chris, in Fiskdale, surrounded by her loving family.

Carole was born in Holden, Massachusetts, the daughter of Carl Forsman Sr. and Lorraine Forsman McCarthy. She was the first and only girl in the family, growing up alongside her brothers. During her youth, she was active in 4-H and volunteered with the Eddy family as a member of a drop-in committee at Naquag Elementary School in Rutland. She attended Wachusett Regional High School and, during those years, lived with the Mellor family in Holden.

Throughout her life, Carole developed a special appreciation for animals, which led her to spend many years working as a dog trainer. She took pride in her work, demonstrating patience and compassion while recognizing the special bond between people and their pets.

In her later years, Carole enjoyed life's simple pleasures, especially Sunday football. She was known for placing friendly bets with her friends on the outcomes of the games. Although she never seemed to win, she always enjoyed the fun and camaraderie. She was also an avid fan of UConn women's basketball and could often be found cheering on her favorite team.

Carole will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her love of animals, her favorite pastimes, and the many special memories she shared with those closest to her.

She leaves behind her son, Christopher Forsman, and his significant other, Teisha; her brother, Carl Forsman Jr., and his wife, Donna; her longtime significant other, Ronald Worley; her stepfather, Robert McCarthy; her stepbrothers, Michael and Mark McCarthy; her grandchildren, Chloe and Chase Forsman; her close friend, Kevin Keating; and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

She was predeceased by her brothers, John and Robert Forsman.

In accordance with Carole's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Carole's name to the Worcester Animal Rescue League.
