Princeton/Holden

Princeton/Holden - Caroline W. Lyons, 94, beloved wife of the late Roger Lyons, passed away on Tuesday, September 2,2025, at Holden Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center.

Born in Worcester, MA, and a resident of Princeton, MA for most of her life, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sarah (Hubbard) Wiggins. Caroline earned her associate degree and worked as a medical secretary. She later went on to enjoy a long career with the John Graves Insurance Agency for over 30 years. She was involved with the Princeton Antique and Art Show and was a Girl Scout Leader for many years. In her spare time, she could be found playing cards, knitting, and reading with her family and friends. Caroline and Roger cherished many summers at their cottage in Maine, and once retired, winters in Myrtle Beach and Florida. In later years, she lived at Colony Retirement Home in Holden. She later moved to Corcoran House Assisted Living in Clinton, and the family sends their many thanks to the staff there who took such good care of her.

She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her four daughters, Diane Connor and her husband, Robert of Auburn, Cheryl Marzziotti and her husband, Dominick of Grafton, Patricia LaFleur and her husband, James of Sterling; and Pamela Druzbicki and her late husband Richard of Sterling/Sutton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many cousins. In addition to her late parents, husband, and son-in-law, she was predeceased by her three brothers: Frank, Robert and Raymond.

She was a fabulous wife, mother, grandmother and Great Grammy to us all.

Memorial donations may be made to the Princeton Firefighters/EMT Association, PO Box 37, Princeton, MA. Services are private and under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
