FITCHBURG - Charles “Charlie” C. Bevis, 51, died peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Leominster. He was born in Brockton, a son of the late Maureen (Crone) Bevis.He leaves his wife and companion of 14 years, Melanie Hayward; his four children, Justine Santos of Worcester, Joey Santos of Providence, RI, Brianna Derrick of Worcester and Tyler Hayward of Jefferson; his two stepchildren, Jaime McNamara and Ashley Noyst, both of Worcester; his sister, Patrice Dean; as well as five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Peter Bevis. The family will gather to remember Charlie on Tuesday, January 10, from 5-6 p.m. at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
