WEST HILLS, CA / CLINTON, MA – Russell C. Livesay, Jr., of West Hills, California, formerly of Clinton and Worcester, died on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, in Providence St. Joseph Medical Center, Burbank, after an illness. He was born in Clinton the son of the late Russell C. Livesay, Sr. and has lived in California for the past 27 years.
He is survived by his son, Eric Livesay and his wife Jennifer of Eagan, Minnesota; his daughter, Liana Edwards and her husband Mitchell of Marion, South Carolina; his mother, Anita R. (Gable) Benware of Sterling; 3 grandchildren, Michalin, Takoda, and Thanyal Edwards; 4 brothers, Kenneth Livesay and his wife Judy of Webster, James Livesay and his wife Paula of Lancaster, Richard Livesay and his wife Scarlett of Winchendon, and Kevin Livesay and his wife Tina of Worcester; many nephews and nieces. His stepfather, Clyde Benware, predeceased him.
Russell graduated from Nashoba Regional High School and worked for an auto supply center in Chicopee for 5 years. He loved music and was a D.J. at radio station WNEB in Worcester for a couple of years.
A private graveside service for Russell will be held at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sterling Animal Shelter, 17 Laurelwood Road, Sterling, MA 01564. Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling, is directing arrangements.
