MILLVILLE - David A. DiSilvestri, 53, passed away on October 17, 2026. He is the loving husband of Kathy (Victorino) DiSilvestri, with whom he has shared the past 22 years of marriage.
Born in Worcester, raised in Holden, he is the son of Linda (Laconte) Bauman and the late Joseph J. DiSilvestri. He worked as a pipe fitter in fire protection for over 20 years.
David was a devoted father of two who found great joy in adventures and creative moments he shared with his family. Affectionately referred to as a free spirit and David "the Babe", he enjoyed mountain biking, hiking, anything outdoors, and most of all, he loved to play disc golf. Anyone who spent any time with him will recall that many tears of laughter were shed, usually at his expense, but he loved every minute of it. He always had a big smile on his face and was always there for anyone who needed him. He was also a talented and hands-on father who took pride in creating things for his children, including building them a swing set and slide to enjoy.
Along with his wife Kathy DiSilvestri, David leaves behind his two children, Josephine and Jack; his mother Linda Bauman and stepfather Steven Bauman; his siblings, Robert DiSilvestri of Pawtucket, RI, Caroline Caro and her husband Isel of Virginia, Sheila Leonard and her husband Dennis of North Brookfield, Lisa Drennan of Gardner, Carolyn DiSilvestri of Hudson, and Linda Basinsky and her partner Joe of South Yarmouth. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his brothers, Joseph "Joey" and Paul DiSilvestri.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, October 26th from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street in Holden.
