HOLDEN - Diane Hagglund Miller, 70, of Holden, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, at St. Mary Health Care Center in Worcester, MA after an illness.

Diane was born on October 7, 1955, to Birger and Helen (Anderson) Hagglund in Worcester, Massachusetts. She was the youngest of their four children. She was preceded in death by both of her parents, as well as her brothers Charles and Steven. She leaves behind her brother Paul Hagglund of Conyers, GA. She graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1974 and had a career in customer service until her retirement.

Diane leaves behind her beloved husband Stephen Miller, of Holden, MA. Stephen and Diane were close companions until her death. They enjoyed spending time together and doting on their adopted cat. They were thoroughly devoted to one another for many years.

Diane leaves behind two children from a previous marriage: daughter Stephanie Plante, along with her husband Chris of West Brookfield, MA; and son Michael St. Jean, along with his wife Angie of Westminster, MA. She loved and cared for them deeply throughout her life. She also leaves behind three grandchildren: Jacob, Noah, and Emma, of West Brookfield, MA. Being a grandmother brought great joy and love to her life in recent years. She truly cherished her children and grandchildren.

Diane’s hobbies included reading, bowling, puzzles, and rooting for the Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed time on Cape Cod and attending family cookouts. She loved animals, and rescued several over the years from local shelters. Diane’s legacy is that of strength, resilience, and immense love for her family and friends. She was a kind and gentle person who will be deeply missed by those close to her.

Diane’s life will be honored in a private family ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Worcester Animal Rescue League in her memory. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. www.milesfuneralhome.com
