Elaine M. (Fortier) Frantz

HOLDEN – Elaine M. (Fortier) Frantz, 75, longtime Holden resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 17, 2021, at the Wachusett Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Gardner.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ethel (Johnson) Fortier. After graduating from Commerce High School, Elaine enjoyed a long secretarial career with the Thom McAn Shoe Company.
In her spare time, Elaine could often be found knitting, sewing, and gardening. She also enjoyed baking for her family and friends and was well known for her delicious Banana Nut Breads and Swedish cookies.
She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her son, Greggory Frantz of Jefferson; her two granddaughters, Makayla and Natalie Frantz; and her sister, Carolyn Schwarz, and her husband, Ray of Brookline, NH. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Janet Fortier.
Funeral services will be held privately. Arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
