Elisa B. (Arbit) Behuniak

HOLDEN – Elisa B. (Arbit) Behuniak, 48, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, July 31, 2011.

She leaves her husband of 27 years, Michael W. Behuniak; two sons, both serving in the U.S. Army, Sgt. Matthew J. Behuniak and his wife Simone stationed in Germany and Warrant Officer, Jonathan M. Behuniak stationed at Fort Rucker, AL; a daughter, Stephanie G. Dossantos of Leominster; her mother, Marilyn Arbit of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two brothers, Michael Arbit of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Gary Arbit of Murfreesboro, TN; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was born in Memphis, TN, the daughter of the late Hal Arbit and has lived in Holden for 25 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, August 6th, from 2 to 4 p.m. follow by a funeral service at 4 p.m. in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A private burial service will be held at a later date at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Fisher House Foundation, 111 Rockville Pike, Suite 420, Rockville, MD 20850-5168.
