SPENCER – Elspeth L. (McDonald) Richards, 95, of 37 Thompson Pond Road, died Sunday, May 21, 2006 in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.
Her husband of 47 years, Arthur J. Richards, died in 1988. She leaves a son, William A. Richards of Alexandria, Virginia; three daughters, Anne L. Stoudt of Abington, Pennsylvania, Jean A. Nicholas of Spencer and Julie E. Goss of North Attleboro; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She lived over 30 years in North Attleboro.
A memorial service for Mrs. Richards will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 16, in the First Congregational Church of North Attleboro, 675 Old Post Road, North Attleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden is directing arrangements.
