Malitas of Worcester; her daughters, Dianne M. Guntharp and her husband, Geoffrey, of Webster and Gail M. Malitas and her husband, William A. Robbins of Keene, NH; two sisters-in-law, Helga White of Newport News, VA, and Andigone Malita of Harwichport, MA; grandchildren Kelsey Guntharp, Bree Beauregard (Mark), and Noah Guntharp, Jason Robbins (Jennifer), and Adam Robbins (Alyssa Larson); nieces, Marlene Shepard (Paul), Marcia Gusha (Jimmy), Sally Keenan (Tim), and Sophia Malita; nephews Paul White (Richard Barisano), Philip Malitas (Christine), and David White; as well as many grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Gordon, Harold, and David White; and her sisters, Lillian Johnson and Marian White. Evelyn graduated from Commerce High School in Worcester with the class of 1945. She went on to work as an Admitting Officer at the former Memorial Hospital in Worcester, beginning in 1959 and retiring in 2002. Evelyn's influence and expertise in both Worcester and Boston was instrumental in the process of converting the recording of Birth Certificates from a hand written to a computerized format in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Evelyn was an avid reader and dedicated supporter of the Gale Free Library in Holden. She had been a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Jefferson for many years. Evelyn and her beloved Thomas loved to travel and had enjoyed much of what Europe as well as many of the U.S. National Parks had to offer. Her dry sense of humor and quick wit, flare for Greek cooking, and loving nature will be missed greatly.
