George V. Mioglionico, Jr.

HOLDEN - George Veto Mioglionico, Jr. (75) passed away on July 20, 2026, after living with leukemia. He was predeceased by his wife Jacalyn (Mentzer) in 2023. He is survived by 2 daughters Angela Mioglionico and Jennifer McQuade; two grandchildren, Coralina (Lina) and Caleb; and his canine “daughter” Cali. He was born on May 30,1951; the son of George Mioglionico, Sr. and Dorothy (Beliveau) Mioglionico.

George leaves behind 4 siblings, Peter and Steven Mioglionico, Karen Daigneault, and Ann Mitchell; as well as many siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends. George attended Burncoat Senior High School before joining the Navy in 1969. After he was discharged George became a plumber in the Holden area, originally as an employee and then taking ownership of Chaffins Plumbing (and Heating). He was passionate about his work and the connections he made with customers. He was a quietly generous person, often donating to various organizations; and a gregarious member of his community. George enjoyed NASCAR races, classic cars, bowling, golf, cruises, country music, local restaurants, and movies.

Calling hours will be July 29 from 4-7 p.m. at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A funeral will be held at 11a.m. on July 30th at First Baptist Church, 111 Park Ave, Worcester.
