Glenn M. Sullivan

PAXTON - Glenn M. Sullivan, 52, of Paxton, Massachusetts passed away on September 9, 2026 surrounded by family. Glenn was married to his beloved wife Becky for 32 years, and had four children, Meghan, Colleen, Erin, and Liam.

Raised in New Hampshire, he was the son of Joseph and Susan (Hall) Sullivan, and brother of Mark and Corinne. The family moved to Holden, where Glenn became a member of Boy Scout Troop 182, earning his Eagle Scout Rank. He graduated from Wachusett Regional High School and attended University of Maine at Orono before returning to Paxton to raise his family.

Glenn continued his Scouting journey with his children, serving as a Daisy leader for Colleen’s first Girl Scout Troop before becoming a Cub Scout Den Leader when Liam joined scouts as a Tiger. He was Liam’s Den Leader all throughout his Cub Scouting career, becoming Cub Master of Pack 46. He became the Scout Master of Troop 182 in 2011 and served in that role for 14 years. He helped many of his scouts in 182 achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. In 2018, he was awarded the Silver Beaver, the highest and most prestigious honor that the local council can bestow upon a volunteer. It honors scouts of exceptional character who have provided distinguished service to the council. In 2018, he was awarded the Holden Good Neighbor award for his service to the town as Scout Master of Troop 182. He was also honored by the Wachusett Area Chamber of Commerce to celebrate 40 years of involvement with Scouting America in 2025.

Glenn worked at David Clark Company, Inc. for 31 years in the IT department, becoming an integral part of the company, and recently assisting in the company’s building move. He proudly showed off the new building to anyone willing to visit, even jokingly naming the server room after himself! He would bring the classic orange David Clark spacesuits every year to the 6th grade science classes at Mountview Middle School and teach the students about how to keep a human alive in space. It was always the best part of the year – a guest speaker explaining how space toilets work. He loved watching any and all space launches and hoped to go to Boca Chica, TX to watch a SpaceX launch one day.

Always a music lover, Glenn recently celebrated his 100th Phish show, attending his last concert at Fenway Park, a venue near and dear to his heart. A fan since the ’90s, Glenn and Becky attended many shows together, even traveling across the country for a festival in California. Ever since his time working as the sound technician at Tammany Hall, he made a point of connecting personally with the bands he knew and loved. He became friendly with several band members and crew across the years, including members of the Disco Biscuits, the Ominous Seapods, and, most recently, Wheatus.

Glenn and Becky loved to travel together, taking trips to Amsterdam, Madrid, Philadelphia and Bethlehem, PA, New Hampshire, and more. They recently visited Paris with Becky’s family, the Caribbean with Glenn’s family, and New Zealand to visit with Colleen.

Glenn enjoyed picking up a variety of hobbies, dedicating his time and attention to things that caught his fancy. He enjoyed cooking and baking pies, especially with his nephews, filming his “Pie Guys” videos to share with family and friends. He took up beekeeping, and started his own channel, the Beekeeping Bushman, to film the process of setting up and checking the hives and collecting honey. He loved tinkering with various technology, fixing old electronics and learning new tech skills. He picked up lock picking, collecting old locks and doorknobs to practice the skills he learned online. He was always interested in how things worked.

He had seasons tickets to the Red Sox, attending as many games as he could throughout the season for many years. He took Meghan to her first Red Sox game, where Pokey Reese hit an in the park home run, a story told many times throughout the years. He often brought his score book to keep track of the games.

Always the gentleman, Glenn was very civic-minded. He was a very vocal contributor at town meetings in both Holden and Paxton. He served on the Paxton Board of Assessors, just re-elected for another term this year. He was passionate about being educated about your town and ensuring your vote is cast. He will be remembered for his kind heart, giving spirit, dedication to the community, and love of all things seafood.

Glenn is survived by his wife Becky (Graham) Sullivan; his children, Meghan and her wife, Megan Barton, Colleen, Erin, and Liam; his parents, Joseph and Susan (Hall) Sullivan; his siblings Mark Sullivan, Corinne Balyk and her husband, Brett; his in-laws, John and Geraldine Graham, Rachel Graham and David Paradise, Sean and Mimi Graham; and his nieces and nephews, Kyra, Dylan, Clare, Tyler, Cameron, Reed, and Michael. Additionally, he is survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling hours will take place Wednesday, September 23rd from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 24th with a reception to follow at the First Baptist Church, 1216 Main Street, Holden.
