Biography
PALM BEACH, FL - Harriet R. Gould, 86, of Palm Beach, FL, passed away on October 1, 2014, in Palm Beach, Florida. Her husband of 44 years, Calvin C. Gould, died in 1997. She leaves three children, Samuel Adams, Elizabeth Gould and her spouse, Katherine Jaeger of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Emily Holdstein and her husband James Holdstein of Worcester; three grandchildren, Nathan Holdstein, Hannah Holdstein, and Beatrice Holdstein, and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Pennsylvania, was the daughter of the late Anna and Benjamin Fox and sister of the late Sydney Fox and Mary Bogan.
She was raised in The Bronx, and lived for over 25 years in Worcester before moving to Florida 30 years ago. Known by friends and family as "Roz," she completed her training as a registered nurse at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, before leaving her nursing career to raise her family. She was an avid bridge player and fitness enthusiast and enjoyed the performing and fine arts. A private memorial service was held.
