Harvey A. Jacobson

Biography

WORCESTER – Harvey A. Jacobson, 80, died at the Jewish Healthcare Center on Saturday, September 17th, following a long illness.

He leaves two sons, Steven Jacobson and his wife, Jo Hanah and Andrew Jacobson and his wife, Cynthia both of Charlotte, NC; and five grandchildren, Caitlin, Paige, Madeline, Maxwell and Samuel. He was predeceased by his brother, Milton Jacobson and his sister, Shirley Morin.

He was born in Keene, NH a son of Samuel and Minna (Sher) Jacobson and lived in Worcester for 60 years moving to North Miami in 1997, returning to Worcester 2 years ago.

He was an auctioneer and owned and operated H. A. Jacobson and Associates from 1982 until his retirement in 1997.

He attended the New England School of Accounting.

He was a member of Level Lodge of Masons, the Worcester Probus Club and was a long time member of Temple Emanuel.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 11:00 AM ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21ST AT TEMPLE EMANUEL SINAI, 661 SALISBURY STREET, WORCESTER UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. Burial will be at B’nai Brith Cemetery, Worcester.

Following the interment at B’nai Brith Cemetery, Memorial Observance will be held until 4:30 PM at The Willows, 101 Barry Road, Worcester.
