STERLING — Henry Frederick Hulick, 95, of Sterling, MA, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2022. Born in Scarsdale, NY to the late William Henry Jr and Aline Tiedemann Hulick. Beloved husband for 69 years of Marion June Gassler Hulick. Predeceased by his brother William Henry Hulick III and sister Anne Marie Hulick Palmer. Loving father of his late children James Henry and Gail Aline Hulick.
Hank graduated from Scarsdale, NY High School in 1945 and went on to have a long and illustrious equestrian career. He spent many years as a show exhibitor, then show administrator. With his wife Marion he ran the well-regarded Saddle River Riding Camp for girls. Later he founded 'Horse Watch', a company focused on protecting horses while stabled overnight at shows. Hank was also an avid boater, and later in life he delighted in taking his powerboat on long cruises along the intercoastal waterway and the Hudson River and Erie Canal. He is remembered by all for his quick smile, kindness, and strong character.
No memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Hank's memory may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars (vfw.org) or The Jimmy Fund (jimmyfund.org).
