OAKHAM – Jack H. Jameson, age 83, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, surrounded by the loving presence of his family. Born in Holden and raised in Jefferson, he was the son of Matti and Flora (Columb) Jameson and was a lifelong resident of the Wachusett area.
Jack proudly served his country, earning the rank of Sergeant in the U.S. Army. After his military service, he returned home where he began a long career as a shipper/receiver at Sims Manufacturing.
Jack will be lovingly missed and remembered by his beloved wife of 62 years, Sally A. (Lundquist) Jameson of Oakham; his devoted daughters, Michelle Post of Rutland, and Melissa Abare and her husband, Jeffrey of Rutland; and his cherished 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Family will gather for a private graveside service at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Arrangements are in the care of Miles Funeral Home of Holden.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association.
