Holden – Jane B. (Lewis) Ohman, 101, died peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Oakdale Rehab and Skilled Nursing Center, West Boylston. She was born in Worcester, the beloved daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Kulwiec) Leos and graduated from Commerce High School.

During World War II, Jane worked as a clerk for the U.S. Department of War in Washington D.C. She returned to Worcester after the war and worked for Riley Stoker Corp. in Worcester, where she met her future husband, Hans E. Ohman. The couple married in 1947 and settled in Holden in 1954. She later worked for several companies In Worcester and completed her career at Reed Rolled Thread in Holden.

Jane loved baking, sewing, and gardening, and was devoted to her family. She also loved animals, and took good care of the four cats that the family owned through the years. She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Worcester. She will be deeply missed.

Jane was predeceased by her husband, Hans E. Ohman in 1997. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her son, Jon M. Ohman of Holden. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Hedwig Lukason, Anna Krusas, and Helen Clancey. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are private and under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
