HOLDEN/STERLING – Jeffrey G. Turner, 46, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at UMass Memorial Healthcare, Lake Ave., Worcester.
Jeff leaves his father, Gary G. Turner and his wife, Anita Leporati of Sterling and his mother, Joyce A. (Harpin) and her husband, Gordon Marko of Webster; his brother, Randy P. Turner and his partner, Julie Bouvier of Hawaii; his sister, Wendy A. Turner of Franklin; his high school sweetheart, Debby Osipov and many nieces and nephews.
Jeff was born in Worcester and grew up in Sterling. He attended Wachusett Regional High School. He proudly served his country as a U.S. Marine during Operation Desert Storm. He worked for many years with heavy equipment and was recently employed by Interra Innovations in Reading. He made a video documentary called “Go The Distance” where he traveled cross country with his friend, Paul. Jeff loved music and singing. Jeff shared a smile and love with everyone he met.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. A memorial service celebrating Jeff’s life will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial at the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon will be private.
