WORCESTER - Joedy A. Cooper, 63, of Worcester, passed away with her family by her side on June 19, 2026. She is the loving wife of Keith A. Cooper with whom she has shared over 45 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, she is the daughter of Viola (Lewis) Moffett. She worked for many years as a team lead and coach with New England Sash and also worked as a residential assistant at Jewish Healthcare Center.
Joedy never missed an opportunity to bring joy to the people around her. She enjoyed shopping, especially the thrill of finding treasures at yard sales, and found great pleasure in arts and crafts and tending to the beautiful garden oasis she created at home. Blessed with a beautiful voice, Joedy loved to sing and share her love of music with family and friends. Above all, she cherished her role as a grandmother. Her beloved grandson was the greatest joy of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with him. She will be remembered for her kind heart, joyful spirit, and the countless smiles she brought to those around her.
Joedy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Keith A. Cooper of Worcester; her daughter Melinda Ann Burke and her husband Garrett of Dracut; her son Keith Andrew Cooper Jr., of Worcester; her adored grandson Eoghan Burke; and siblings, Evelyn Wall and her husband William, Patricia McComiskey and her husband Albert, Deborah Feliciano and her husband Freddy, and Thomas Goodrich. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, July 1st from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street in Holden. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be held privately.
