PRINCETON – John A. Getchell, 48, of Clearings Way, died peacefully early morning surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. John is survived by his loving wife Kathy and their two children Katelynn & Ryan.

A loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and great friend to many, heroically battled melanoma for four years. John lived his entire life with a positive attitude; he has taught us to do the same.

John graduated from Virginia Tech and continued on to become a successful business owner with his brother Ben. We all look forward to seeing Johnny G. again.
