HARDWICK - Joshua J. Marrone, 23, passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Oakham on Saturday, February 2, 2019. He was born in Worcester and had lived in Holden before moving to Hardwick in 2008 .
Joshua graduated from Pathfinder Regional High School in 2013 and became a union electrician. He was a proud member of the IBEW Local 7 in Springfield and worked for Coughlin Electric out of Worcester for much of his career. His proudest working accompaniment was working on the MGM Springfield where he spent most of 2018. Joshua was an avid outdoorsmen. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, target shooting, boating, riding his ATV, cutting firewood and working on cars. His greatest passion was to spend time with his loving family and his many friends. He will be sadly missed.
He leaves his parents, Richard P., Jr. and Bonnie J. (Oberg) Marrone of Hardwick; his two brothers, Austin R. Marrone (his best friend) and Kyle R. Marrone; his two sisters, Angela M. Marrone and Emily R. Marrone, all of Hardwick; his grandparents, Donald and Ann (Hunt) Oberg of Princeton; his two aunts, Susan Hinson and her husband, Robert and Robin Ouellette; his girlfriend, Sarah Bousquet of Barre; his hunting dog, Boomer; several cousins and lots of friends. Joshua was predeceased by his grandparents, Richard P., Sr. and Ruth E. (Needham) Marrone.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February, 8th in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Funeral services for Joshua will be held on Saturday, February 9th with a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester.
