PRINCETON – Joy Carol (Riffe) Fitzgerald, 56, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a long illness on Friday, April 13, 2007.
She survived by her mother, Gean R. Riffe; two daughters, Tracy J. Fitzgerald and her fiancé, Michael Yanik; and Kelly G. Boulanger; a brother Lee A. Riffe, Jr.; a sister Gean A. Karpowich; three grandchildren, Morgan L. and Jamie M. Simpson, and Vanessa J. McNeil; a niece and two nephews.
She was born in Jersey City, NJ the daughter of the late Lee A. Riffe, Sr. and lived 29 years in Princeton. She graduated from Clark University and Dean College.
A memorial service for Joy will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2007 in the First Congregational Church in Princeton, 14 Mountain Road, Princeton. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden is directing arrangements.
