WORCESTER - It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Karen A. (Wagner) Slack, who left this world at the age of 78 after a strong battle with cancer. Born in Worcester in 1947 to her loving parents, the pre-deceased Milton W. Wagner and Evelyn C. Wagner, Karen grew up surrounded by the love of family.
Karen was a proud graduate of North High School, Worcester MA, Class of 1965. She dedicated her professional life as an Executive Administrative Assistant at Greenberg, Rosenblatt, Kull & Bitsoli, where she was admired for her warmth and strong work ethic.
Above all, Karen was devoted to her family. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Debora (Slack) Fedele, her grandson Nick Fedele and his wife Emily, her granddaughter Megan Fedele and her fiancée Brandon Crowther, her sister Vera E. Sunderland, her loving Grand Pup, Brady, along with many beloved relatives and dear friends. Karen’s love knew no limits, and her presence was a constant source of comfort, laughter, and encouragement.
Karen embraced life with a kind and generous spirit. She cherished spending time with friends and family, and found joy in simple moments, Sunday concerts on the common, exercise class at the Holden Senior Center, yard sale adventures, and long walks with friends. Her smile could brighten any room, and her genuine nature made everyone feel welcome and cared for.
Karen’s legacy of love, strength, and compassion lives on in all who were blessed to know her. She will be forever missed and always remembered.
May she rest in eternal peace.
