HOLDEN - Kathleen H. Winacoo, 74, passed away on May 22, 2025, at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester, surrounded by the love of her family.

Kathleen was born on September 13, 1950, in Medford, MA, to the late Ralph and Eleanor Hudson. She was a 1969 graduate of Massachusetts Hospital School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in psychology from Boston University. She later earned a second bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from Worcester State University, continuing her lifelong commitment to education and growth.

Kathleen dedicated her professional career to the healthcare field, working as a medical coder for many years. Her attention to detail and compassionate nature made her a valued colleague and friend to many.

During college, Kathleen met the love of her life, Jeffrey N. Winacoo. They were married on June 12, 1976, and together raised their three daughters. Kathleen and Jeff shared a beautiful life full of shared interests, travel destinations, and meaningful experiences.

She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Leslie Hudson.

Kathleen is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Jeffrey Winacoo of Holden; her daughters, Sarah Amy of Worcester, Emily Landsman and her husband Sam of Norwich, VT, and Allison Winacoo of Seattle, WA; and her two beloved grandchildren, Lucy and Nolan.

A memorial service to honor Kathleen's life will be held on June 7th from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Val's Restaurant, 75 Reservoir Street in Holden.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made in Kathleen's name to the MSPCA-Angell, 350 South Huntington Ave. Boston, MA 02130
