WORCESTER, MA – Jesse Lee Brigham, 27, of 40 Richards Street, died on Friday, January 4, 2008, from injuries sustained in a snowboarding accident in Vail, Colorado.
He leaves his parents, Chester H. Brigham of Worcester and Susan E. Tivnan of Sterling; three brothers, Chester L. Brigham, Steve W. Brigham and his wife Kathy all of Worcester, and Derek F. Brigham of Auburn; a sister and best friend, Allison M. Brigham of Worcester; two step-brothers, Brian Deluca of Worcester and Matthew Deluca of Cranston, RI; a step-sister, Jamie LeBoeuf of Barre; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and his beloved English bulldogs, Ozwald and Callie.
Jesse was born in Worcester and raised in West Boylston before moving to Worcester. He attended West Boylston Schools and graduated from Worcester Vocational Technical High School in Worcester. He was a licensed plumber and worked for both Scott J. Bostek Plumbing in West Boylston and Jesse Catino Plumbing in Worcester. He spent the last two winters working for Old Rock Resort now Arrabelle Resort in Vail, Colorado
Jesse enjoyed extreme outdoor sports including snowboarding, skateboarding and hiking. He spent six months in Argentina snowboarding and hiking. He loved the book The Alchemist and lived his life following his own personal legend. Jesse’s nickname was “Jesse The Great”. He was a proud Irishman. He loved music and animals and was an avid Red Sox fan. He would have celebrated his 13th year of sobriety on January 26th of this year. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends and would light up the room with his contagious smile.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 11th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral Mass for Jesse will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 12th, in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester Street, West Boylston. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, 32 Church Street, West Boylston.
