In 1981, Linda met Robert Fitzsimmons, Sr. while working at Midas. The two began dating and, just one year later, were married. Together, they settled in Holden, where they raised their family.

Linda had a love for classic cars and especially enjoyed vacations to Lake Winnipesaukee. She adored cats and looked forward to the fall season, particularly Halloween, when she enjoyed visiting Salem and taking in all the sights and festivities.
