Linda S. Hasselmann

STERLING – Linda S. Hasselmann, 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus. Linda was born in Leominster and lived in Sterling. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Needham) Hasselmann.

Linda enjoyed her recent job as a van driver for AA Transportation where she formed many wonderful friendships with her colleagues. In her spare time, she could often be found knitting and crocheting. In addition to reading, she loved spending time tending to her beautiful flower gardens.

She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her two sisters, Betty Needham and Janet Wilson of West Boylston; a brother, Edward Hasselmann; many nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Nellie Magaw and her brother, Stanley Hasselmann.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather with the family from 10 to 12 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5 in the Miles-Sterling Funeral & Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National MS Society.
