Linda was the first member of her family to graduate from college, earning both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Worcester State College. She married Jerry on October 22, 1967. After a brief time living in California, they returned to Worcester, where they raised their daughters.

As a young woman, Linda worked at the Denholm & McKay department store in Worcester. After completing her education, she taught fifth- and sixth-grade English in several public school systems throughout Worcester County and later at Oxford Academy in Northborough, where she spent many years. She was an active member of Congregation Beth Israel in Worcester, participating in the Sisterhood and a Chavurah group, serving with Jerry as a USY advisor, and generously volunteering for countless events. Following her teaching career, she became COO of Cutler Computer Corporation in Worcester and retired in 2007.

In 2009, Linda and Jerry moved to Greenville, SC, where they joined another Congregation Beth Israel, helped form a new Chavurah group, and contributed to organizing Greenville's Year of Altruism. After the onset of her illness, Linda returned to Massachusetts, where Robyn and her husband Steven lovingly cared for her until her passing.

Linda was a cherished daughter, mother, wife, sister, aunt, step-grandmother, step-great-grandmother, cousin, and friend. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
