Lisa Ann Perlman

WORCESTER – Lisa Ann Perlman, age 63, died peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Jewish Healthcare Center, surrounded by the loving presence of her family. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Robert and Joan (Rosenbaum) Perlman and was a lifelong resident.

Lisa was a proud Alumna of Worcester State University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree as well as Master’s Degrees in Early Childhood Education and Reading/Literacy. She proudly dedicated herself to the Worcester Public School System as a Reading Specialist for over 30 years before her retirement.

Lisa was predeceased by her precious son, Benjamin Matan. She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her devoted parents, Robert and Joan Perlman of Worcester; her dedicated sisters, Lori Zoll and her husband, David of New York City, and Lynn Schulman and her husband, David of Ashland; her special Aunt, Vita Osterberg; her loving nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Tessa and Cece, Allie, Zach and Marlee; and many dear friends. 

Family and friends will gather to honor Lisa’s memory at her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 28th at Congregation Beth Israel, 15 Jamesbury Drive, Worcester. Interment will follow at B’nai Brith Cemetery, 55 St. John’s Road (The Perlman Family Way) in Worcester. Memorial Observances will be announced. Arrangements are in the care of Miles Funeral Home of Holden.
