Margaret R. (Clark) Porciello

STERLING – Margaret R. (Clark) Porciello, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at Clinton Hospital after a brief illness.

She leaves her loving husband of 24 years, James Porciello, Sr.; three sons, Mark E. Paskell and his wife, Kim of Sterling, David M. Paskell and his wife, Belinda of New Hampshire and Jeffrey L. Yalian and his wife, Robyn of Clinton; three daughters, Cynthia I. Paskell and Suzanne E. Porciello and her husband, Thomas all of Sterling and Marilee R. Yalian and her companion, Brian Fenton of Worcester; a step-daughter, Theresa Kusumah-Atmadja of Sterling; her stepsons, James Porciello, Jr. and his wife, Frieda of NY and John Porciello and his wife, Paula of Clinton; many grandchildren, including Fernando Soler who lived with her; many great-grandchildren; several nephews and nieces; and her former husband, Alfred Paskell of Clinton. She was predeceased by a son, Bruce A. Paskell, her former husband, Richard Yalian, a brother, Michael Clark and a sister, Theresa McDonnell.

Margaret was born in Worcester, the daughter of Arthur and Rita C. (Lavigne) Clark and had lived in Clinton before moving to Sterling over twenty years ago. She was a quality control inspector at several manufacturing companies in the Clinton area including Injectronics Inc. and Nypro Inc. She was an active member of St. Richard of Chichester Church and she enjoyed playing bingo and loved her cats.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, May 26, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. Funeral services for Margaret will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, May 27, with a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Richard of Chichester Church, 4 Bridge Street, Sterling.
