Margaret A. DeMarco

WORCESTER - Margaret A. (Notorangelo) DeMarco, 91, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester.

Born and raised in Worcester, Margaret was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph Notorangelo and Antoinette (Macaruso) Notorangelo. She attended Worcester public schools and was a proud graduate of Commerce High School.

In 1957, Margaret married the love of her life, John DeMarco, Sr., at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Together, they shared 68 wonderful years of marriage, building a life centered on love, devotion, and family. Margaret was a dedicated homemaker who took great pride in raising her family in Worcester, creating a warm and welcoming home for all who entered.

Margaret found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved playing bingo, cooking for those she cherished, and, above all, spending time with her family. Her presence, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, John DeMarco, Sr. of Worcester; her son, John DeMarco, Jr. and his wife, Cynthia, of Spencer; her sister, Rosemarie Shooshan of Worcester; and her cherished grandson, Nicholas DeMarco of Worcester. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her three sisters, Frances Tomasetta, Helen Bovenzi, and Josephine Gallo.

In accordance with Margaret's wishes, all services will be held privately.
