Margaret Lavin

WORCESTER - Margaret (Walsh) Lavin passed away peacefully on the evening of Wednesday, July 23rd after a period of declining health. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Lavin and her parents John Walsh and Irene (Wheeler) Walsh, as well as her sister Anne Brutscher, of Rockville, Maryland.

Born in Worcester, Margaret was proud of her Shrewsbury Street heritage and remained a resident of Worcester her entire life. She leaves behind two sons, James and Robert Lavin, and three grandchildren, John, Stephanie, and Bronwyn.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who wore her emotions on her sleeve and took great pride in caring for her family.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Services to be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street in Holden.
