HOLDEN – Marguerite E. (LeBeau) Dillon, 91, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 10, 2014 at UMass Memorial Healthcare University Campus. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of George W. and Helen L. (Rapphyea) LeBeau and graduated from Westborough High School.
Her loving husband of 27 years, James F. Dillon, passed away in 1977. She leaves a son, David J. Dillon of Stuart, FL; a daughter, Diane M. Power and her husband, Andy of Oxford, NC; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her sister, Marion Bowman.
Marguerite worked in the treasurer’s office for the Town of Holden for 22 years. She was a member of St. George’s Church and its Women’s Guild, the Chaffin Women’s Club, the Holden Senior Citizens and the Holden Council on Aging.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, February 14, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, followed by a 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester. Burial will be at St. Luke Cemetery in Westborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. George’s Church Memorial Fund, 40 Brattle St., Worcester, MA 01606.
