Martha M. (Sroka) M. Hagberg

Paxton – Martha M. (Sroka) Hagberg, 96, died peacefully on June 22, 2026 at UMass Memorial Healthcare – University Campus, Worcester. She was born in Chicopee, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Kaziol) Sroka.

Martha worked as an office manager for New York Life Insurance Co. for many years. She married the love of her life, the late Paul M. Hagberg and the couple settled in Paxton. She had been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worcester where she made many dear friends.

Martha was predeceased by her husband, Paul M. Hagberg in 2017; and her brother, Joseph Sroka.

A funeral service honoring and celebrating Martha’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Ave., Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's own choosing.
