Mary F. (LeFave) Dubeau, 78, of Jefferson passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025, at UMass Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Worcester on August 21, 1946, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Dunn) LeFave. She grew up locally and graduated from Worcester Girls High School. It was shortly after high school that she met the love of her life, William Dubeau, and the two were married on June 24, 1966. Together, they built a life full of devotion and love, raising three sons and remaining inseparable through the decades.
Earlier in life, she also spent time working at Betty Jane’s Bakery in Clinton, where her friendly spirit and hardworking nature were just as appreciated. Mary worked for many years as a talented and trusted hairdresser at Continental Style Salon in Worcester, known throughout the community for her warmth, kindness, and sense of humor. Whether styling hair or greeting customers at the bakery, Mary brought joy and ease to those around her.
A true homebody at heart, Mary loved reading, cooking hearty meals for her family, and spending time at home. Her happiest moments were those spent gathered with loved ones around the table, creating memories through simple joys. After retiring, Mary and her husband William traveled together, fulfilling her dream of visiting Ireland and enjoying several cruises—always side by side, just as they had been throughout their lives.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Margaret LeFave.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of fifty nine years, William Dubeau of Jefferson; her children, Christopher Dubeau and his wife Joan of West Boylston, Philip Dubeau and his wife Heather of Rutland, and David Dubeau and his wife Gwen of Holden; her brother, Thomas LeFave of Worcester; her cherished grandchildren, Liam, Nathan, Hannah and Jaymee; and many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Interment will take place at Worcester County Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
