Mary F. (LeFave) Dubeau, 78, of Jefferson passed away peacefully on August 5, 2025, at the UMass Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born in Worcester on August 21, 1946, Mary was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Dunn) LeFave. She grew up locally and graduated from David Hale Fanning Girls Trade School in Worcester. It was shortly after high school that she met the love of her life, William Dubeau, and the two were married on June 25, 1966. Together, they built a life full of devotion and love, raising three sons and remaining inseparable through the decades.
Mary worked for many years as a talented and trusted hairdresser at Continental Style Salon in Worcester. Mary then devoted many years to managing and running the family owned business, Betty Jane’s Bakery in Clinton along with her husband and sons. After the bakery closed, she worked in the medical billing field for several years before retiring. Mary was known throughout the community for her warmth, kindness, and sense of humor and brought joy to all those around her.
During the summers, one of Mary’s greatest joys was spending weekends at their camp near Scarborough Beach in Rhode Island with family and friends. Mary loved reading, cooking hearty meals, and spending time at home with her loved ones. Her happiest moments were those spent gathered with loved ones and friends around the table. After retiring, Mary and her husband William traveled together enjoying several cruises and fulfilled her lifelong dream of visiting Ireland - always side by side, just as they had been throughout their lives.
Mary was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Margaret LeFave. She was also predeceased by her brother in law and sister in law Robert and Janet Dubeau.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of fifty nine years, William Dubeau of Jefferson; her children, Christopher Dubeau and his wife Joan of West Boylston, Philip Dubeau and his wife Heather of Rutland, and David Dubeau and his wife Gwen of Holden; her brother, Thomas LeFave and sister in law Judy of Worcester; her cherished grandchildren, Nathan, Hannah, Liam and Jaymee; and many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Interment will take place at Worcester County Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
