Michael Burton

WORCESTER – Michael W. Burton, 24, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2015. Michael was born in Lawton, OK, and lived there several years before moving to North Carolina, Maryland Virginia and then Worcester five years ago. He attended Worcester State University. Michael spent time as a farm worker where his talents as an arborist, equipment operator and landscaper were honed. He also worked in the insulation installation field. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed music and playing basketball and was a great cook.

He will be missed by his wife, Erica C. (Ferguson) Burton of Jefferson; his parents, Wayne and Verla D. (Green) Burton of Lunenburg; his two sisters, Leslie Ann Burton of Lunenburg and Danielle Larissa Golden of Farmville, VA; as well as his niece. Michael and Erica were also expecting their first child together, whose arrival Michael was very excited about.
