RUTLAND – June M. (Tucker) Fife, 66, of Nancy Drive, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 24 years, Stanley B. Fife; a son, Richard F. Eckhardt, Jr. of Rutland; a daughter, Francine M. Enberg of Holden; a step-son, William B. Fife of Shrewsbury; four step-daughters, Brenda L. Renwick of Virginia, Audrey Martinez of Worcester, Lisa Frisch of Rutland and Amy E. Grissom of Virginia; a brother, James Tucker of South Carolina; two sisters, Joanne Petty of Holden and Denise Clark of Rutland; 10 grandchildren including Carl E. Enberg, Jr. of Holden and Richard F. Eckhardt III of Rutland; 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
June was born in Holden, a daughter of James C. and Rita T. (Fournier) Tucker, lived in Worcester and later 35 years in Rutland. She worked for Future Electronics in Bolton for the last 8 years. Previously she worked 18 years at Jamesbury Corporation, now Metso Automation. She enjoyed vacationing in York, Maine.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 14th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral service for June will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 15th, in the funeral home. A spring burial will be held at Rural Cemetery, Rutland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210.
