HUBBARDSTON – Pamela Ann (Luparelli) Kozminski, 55, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 23, 2016 after a five year battle with breast cancer.
She leaves her loving husband of 34 years, Kenneth G. Kozminski; her children, Amanda Shaulis and her husband, Jeffrey of Barre and Joseph Kozminski and his partner, Christina Gustafson of Barre; her parents, Theodore and Betty (Morrow) Luparelli of Lakeland, Florida; two sisters, Angela Shimkus and her partner, Brian Brown of Rutland and Bettiann Michalik of Barre; four grandchildren, Anthony Shaulis, Lily Shaulis, Jeffrey Shaulis and Kenneth Kozminski. Pamela also leaves behind several loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pamela was born in Worcester and had lived in Rutland before moving to Hubbardston thirty-one years ago. She graduated from Wachusett Regional High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1979. Pamela worked over thirty years in retail with Linens and Things, Ocean State Job Lot and game nights with the IceCats. She was beautiful, caring and kind and loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She rarely missed a school concert, sporting event or family gathering over the past years and her favorite holiday was Black Friday.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 27, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Funeral services for Pamela will be held on Wednesday, September 28, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 258 Main Street, Rutland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UMass Memorial Foundation Office of Advancement, UMass Medicine Cancer Walk & Run, 333 South Street, Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
