Patricia Ann (Pat) Lynch

STERLING - Patricia Ann (Pat) Lynch, age 69, of Sterling, died on May 4, 2026, at the end of her cancer journey. Pat died peacefully, with loving family by her side.

Pat was born on March 16, 1957, in Worcester, MA, and lived her entire adult life with her loving husband, Michael Lynch, in Sterling.

Pat and Mike married on August 5, 1977, and shared 48 wonderful years of marriage together. They grew their family in Sterling, where Pat was the most devoted and joyful mother to their three children.

She was a home childcare provider in Sterling for 18 years and focused her entire career on children — from her daycare to her time as a classroom aid and ABA therapist, to her role as Case Manager with HMEA. Pat cared so deeply about children and their families and supported too many to count throughout her working years. Pat was at her core a caregiver and was so passionate about and impactful in her work with children.

Pat is survived by her husband and best friend, Michael Lynch of Sterling, her grateful children, daughter Regina (Greg) Picariello of Westborough, MA, son Michael (Barbra) Lynch of Worcester, MA, and son Brian (Kaitlyn) Lynch of Milton, VT, her adoring grandchildren, Kora, Hazel, Trevor, and Cooper, her sisters Judy Thompson of Boylston, MA and Kathy Joseph of Merrimack, NH, and her brother Mike Ventres of Bethlehem, CT, as well as sisters Jane Iaconi and Mary Martiros.

Pat loved the saying “The best things in life aren’t things,” and lived by those words every day — time with her loved ones was what she valued most. Pat’s family will forever carry her love with them, as well as countless fond and cherished memories with their beloved wife, sister, Mom, and Grammy.

Pat’s life will be celebrated and honored during visiting hours from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Monday, May 11, at the Miles-Sterling Funeral and Tribute Center, 100 Worcester Road, Sterling. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and share in remembering and celebrating Pat’s life and legacy. Her family will gather privately at the funeral home for a memorial service in her honor.
